Duties

• Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct court appearances, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
• Handle general liability defense matters, including premises liability cases.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel.
• Participate in oral arguments and trial preparation.
• Collaborate with attorneys on complex litigation matters.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Admission to practice law in New York required.
• 1+ year of insurance defense or general liability litigation experience.
• Experience with premises liability and construction accident litigation preferred.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Strong organizational and case management abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
