Duties

• Independently manage a caseload from beginning to end.
• Regularly handle court appearances and depositions.
• Lead client communication and provide meaningful updates.
• Handle civil litigation cases, including maritime disputes and personal injury claims.
• Advise clients on complex maritime and energy-related legal matters.
• Represent clients in legal proceedings, advocating for their interests.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of litigation experience.
• Experience in offshore maritime matters highly desired.
• Strong research, writing, communication, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to interact directly with clients and develop relationships.
• Track record of high achievement in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently manage caseloads.
• Good standing with the Texas State Bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
