Spring Internship

The intern will be placed in the Global Strategies and Negotiation Division. Will draft papers on communications issues for ITU and other international meetings. Prepare briefing materials for the Chairman, Commissioners and senior officials in advance of meetings. Attend meetings at various US government agencies. Participate in teams preparing for international conferences. Research legal issues, current events in global communications, and foreign regulatory developments. Conduct empirical analysis, including model estimation using various econometric techniques. Interact with foreign visitors through the International Visitors Program. Law students with an expressed interest in Telecommunications and/or International Law will be considered. Must have strong writing and analytical skills.
