Duties

• Handle a significant volume of creditor's rights cases.
• Resolve issues in discovery practice, depositions, and conflict resolution.
• Make court appearances and manage related travel.
• Assist in growing the firm's presence and reputation.

Requirements

• Member in good standing of the Alabama State Bar.
• Licensed or able to obtain a license in Alabama federal district and bankruptcy courts.
• 8+ years of mortgage foreclosure and collections experience.
• Familiarity with the South Carolina state legal system.
• Appellate experience and knowledge of TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar License in the state of Alabama (required).
• Multiple licenses a plus.
