Location:

• San Francisco, CA

Duties:

• Evaluate potential criminal defense cases and provide legal advice to clients
• Review, modify, and draft motions, subpoenas, memorandums, sentencing, trial briefs, and other legal documents
• Document and update the status of all case files in the case management system
• Manage criminal defense case files from initiation through resolution
• Supervise and delegate tasks to a team of legal assistants as needed

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• State Bar Association membership and a state license to practice law
• Minimum of 3 years of criminal defense and/or trial experience in misdemeanor and felony criminal cases
• Strong negotiation, drafting, research, and communication skills
• Computer proficiency and familiarity with case management systems

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in the state
