Location:

• Hackensack, New Jersey

Duties:

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
• Draft and prepare various legal documents, including discovery responses, motions, and pleadings.
• Manage discovery processes, including document review and preparation of responses.
• Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to strategize and manage cases effectively.
• Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients on liability defense matters.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of litigation experience, preferably in liability defense.
• Professional liability experience (non-medical) is preferred.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Experience with discovery, document review, and production.
• Experience drafting and arguing dispositive and non-dispositive motions is a plus.
• Admission to the New Jersey bar is required.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the bar in New Jersey.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven experience with discovery processes and litigation procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Ability to draft and argue motions in court.
