Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate to join its Jacksonville office. This position is suited for a motivated attorney with 2–4 years of experience in commercial litigation, especially those interested in financial, class action, healthcare, or energy-related matters. Location:

• Jacksonville, Florida

Duties:

• Handle a variety of commercial litigation matters involving corporate and financial clients

• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

• Conduct legal research and provide case strategy input

• Assist in discovery, including managing document productions and taking or defending depositions

• Support litigation teams in class actions and other complex disputes

• Engage in client communications and participate in legal proceedings as appropriate

• Collaborate with partners, associates, and legal support staff to meet client objectives

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in commercial litigation

• Prior experience in class action, healthcare, or energy litigation is a plus

• Judicial clerkship experience preferred

• Proven ability to work effectively on a team and independently on complex matters

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admitted to the Florida Bar and in good standing

Skills:

• Excellent legal research and writing skills

• Strong oral advocacy and interpersonal communication abilities

• Capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills

• Ability to work closely with business and legal teams in a client-focused setting
