Auto and/or General Liability Partner

Profile

A law firm in South Jordan is seeking a Partner with 6+ years of experience to join its Auto and General Liability practice. This role requires a candidate with a portable book of business, in addition to the opportunity for a steady flow of work from the firm. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of auto and/or general liability practice and be dedicated to providing exceptional client service.

Duties:

• Manage and grow a practice focused on auto and general liability litigation.
• Handle all aspects of civil litigation, including motion practice, discovery, depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation.
• Provide exceptional client service and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with the team in a supportive and development-focused environment.
• Engage in trial work and prepare cases for jury trials when necessary.

Requirements:

• At least 6 years of experience in civil litigation and insurance defense.
• A portable book of business is required.
• Extensive experience with motion practice, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Strong client service skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active member in good standing with the State Bar of New Mexico.

Skills:

• Strong oral advocacy and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent legal research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
