Duties

• Review client files to ensure compliance with pending statutes of limitations

• Review complaints for accuracy and completeness

• Propound and respond to discovery requests

• Draft motions and oppositions in a timely and effective manner

• Take and defend depositions

• Attend hearings, conferences, and mediations as required

• Collaborate with senior attorneys to strategize and prepare for trial

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines efficiently

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• A team player with the ability to work independently when needed

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to the California State Bar

Skills

• Strong legal research and writing skills

• Ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents

• Experience with discovery processes and deposition preparation

• Ability to attend and participate in client hearings and mediations

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
