Location:

• Atlanta, Georgia

Duties:

• Evaluate new files to establish action plans, budgets, and case strategies

• Identify necessary pleadings and delegate tasks appropriately to support staff

• Prepare and respond to discovery, manage document production, and handle legal correspondence

• Attend and report on depositions, hearings, and discovery-related events

• Negotiate settlements, obtain appropriate authority, and prepare cases for trial if necessary

• Maintain regular communication and coordination with paralegals and legal assistants

• Ensure case progress aligns with client expectations and firm timelines

Requirements:

• 1–5 years of legal practice experience, preferably in insurance defense or workers' compensation law

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia (required)

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and caseloads independently

• Strong client service orientation and interpersonal communication skills

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational capabilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active member in good standing with the Georgia State Bar

Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management systems

• Excellent legal writing, research, and negotiation skills

• Ability to collaborate across teams and work well under minimal supervision
