A law firm seeks a talented associate with 1-3 years of antitrust experience to join their Antitrust & Competition Practice Group in New York, New York. This role offers an opportunity to engage in complex antitrust investigations, enforcement actions, and private litigation involving issues such as monopolization and merger challenges. The associate will also contribute to cross-border transaction advocacy and regulatory strategy in sectors like technology, AI, life sciences, and energy.

Duties

• Advise clients on compliance and risk management strategies.
• Participate in all stages of litigation, from drafting pleadings to trial.
• Stay informed on competition developments and priorities.
• Engage in cross-border transaction advocacy and regulatory strategy.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in antitrust litigation or regulatory investigations.
• Prior clerkship or DOJ/FTC experience preferred.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in teams.
• Experience or interest in civil antitrust/unfair competition litigation and merger reviews.
• Familiarity with antitrust issues in the technology sector is highly preferred.
• Admission to the New York and/or DC Bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York and/or DC Bar.
