Duties:

• Evaluate the merits of personal injury cases through legal research and analysis.
• Manage a demanding caseload and supervise the support team.
• Focus on finding creative solutions to client issues.
• Review and analyze intake, medical treatment, expenses, and relevant information to determine case strategy and value.
• Communicate proactively with internal teams and clients.
• Network to secure new personal injury cases.
• Draft legal documents, including demand letters.
• Interview, manage, and document client interactions.
• Negotiate with insurance companies for maximum case value.
• Contact medical providers and negotiate medical bills.
• Represent client interests in various legal proceedings.
• Assist injured clients with benefits and medical care.
• Conduct depositions and discovery.
• Remain current with legal developments.
• Coordinate and attend claims reviews.
• Schedule ongoing case reviews and task requirements.
• Compile and submit required reports to firm management.
• A book of business is a plus.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida State Bar.
• 3 years of experience in personal injury law.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Empathy for clients and ability to build trust.
• Knowledge of medical issues related to personal injury cases.
• Ability to manage a demanding caseload and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
• Familiarity with automotive billing processes and PIP statutes.
• Experience with case management software is preferred.
