Duties

• Contribute to patent and IP-related litigation from inception through trial

• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents with attention to detail and legal strategy

• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis related to complex technical matters

• Assist in preparing expert reports and supporting trial teams during courtroom proceedings

• Interface with clients, inventors, and technical experts to build strong factual records

• Participate in depositions and pretrial preparation under the guidance of experienced litigators

Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in patent or intellectual property litigation

• Demonstrated interest in technology-related legal matters

• Strong writing, communication, and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative and deadline-driven environment

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

• Admission to a U.S. State Bar; Texas Bar admission preferred or willingness to obtain

Skills

• Technical literacy in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related discipline

• Familiarity with patent law principles and litigation procedures
