A law firm seeks a mid-level Real Estate Finance Associate to join their Real Estate and Land Use group in Chicago, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in sophisticated real estate or commercial lending transactions.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate loan documents.
• Conduct due diligence, including title and survey reviews.
• Close real estate finance transactions.
• Support acquisition, disposition, leasing, and development matters.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of relevant experience.
• Experience with both lender-side and borrower-side transactions preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois or eligible for admission.
