Junior Threat Intelligence Analyst – Virtual Leverage threat intelligence to identify, understand and interpret threats that may impact Aon's environment! Monitor for indicators of compromise (IoCs), and shifting Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) to provide stakeholders with useful intelligence products! This is a Virtual role preferrably within the CST or EST time zones in the U.S.Responsibilities:Maintain knowledge on the general threat landscape, including but not limited to, active Threat Actors, recently seen malware, and vulnerabilities that are exploited in the wild.Monitor various sources to identify potential threats to the environment, using established Priority Intelligence Requirements and scoring matrices.Successfully communicate actionable threat intelligence to internal consumers.Use various tools and methodologies common in the cybersecurity industry to complete routine tasks.Assist in building and maintaining a Threat Intelligence knowledge base.Investigate threats as needed.Create written and spoken briefings on various threat intelligence topics.Collaborate with stakeholders across business to provide timely intelligence and aid in workflows as needed.Skills and experience that will lead to success:1 year(s) experience in a cybersecurity role or bachelor's degree in a related fieldKnowledge of various threat intelligence frameworks, such as MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain.Basic familiarity with the intelligence lifecycle and structured analytic techniques.Must have a willingness to continue to learn and adapt as the landscape changes.Understanding of basics of system administration, intrusion detection and prevention systems.Understanding of key concepts related to network or operating system security operations, and incident response.Strong written and oral communication skills in English.Attention to detail and common Operational Security practices.Preferred but not RequiredCybersecurity (or related) certification such as: Security , CySA , GCTI, CREST, GOSIExperience with extended Microsoft suite of products, such as Access, SharePoint, Yammer, etc.Experience with Python or other common programming languages.Proficiency in languages such as Russian, Chinese, Korean, Arabic. The target salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
