The candidates will handle sophisticated estate planning and trusts and estates work. Draft estate planning documents, including Wills, Trusts, and advanced directives. Provide legal advice and counsel to a variety of clients, including clients with high net worth and large estates. Advise clients in connection with income tax, transfer tax, charitable planning, and business succession planning. Prepare probate and administration petitions and represent clients in Surrogate’s Court proceedings. Should be admitted to practice in the State of New York with 4-6 years post-admission experience. Must have excellent analytical and organizational skills. Portable book of business a plus. Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel. Experience with ProLaw or ShareFile is a plus.
