A law firm in Chicago is seeking a seasoned Health Care Associate Attorney to join its Corporate Services Group (CSG). The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters, ensuring the production of quality legal work, and generating business through individual and group efforts. The role requires a commitment to the highest ethical standards, health care expertise, strong attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with attorneys and clients.

Duties:

• Manage multiple legal matters at various stages, from inception to conclusion.
• Produce high-quality legal work and bill required hours to uphold excellent client services.
• Generate business through both individual and group efforts.
• Adhere to the highest ethical standards of the legal profession.
• Utilize health care expertise within the Corporate Services Group (CSG).
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and effective interpersonal skills.
• Work independently and productively, showcasing a commitment to advancing a career in CSG.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
• Licensed to practice law in good standing in one or more jurisdictions where the firm conducts business.
• Must maintain applicable license renewal and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of relevant experience in ACA, Healthcare Benefits, Qualified Plan compliance with IRS and Department of Labor, Multi-employer plans, benefits in mergers and acquisitions.
• Substantial experience in drafting, reviewing motions, and court filings.
• 5-8 years' experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and productively.
• Commitment to advancing a career in the Corporate Services Group (CSG).
