Spring Legal Internship
The intern will be conducting legal research and analysis on federal, state, and city law. Will be drafting position papers, model legislation, and other public-facing materials in support of firm’s policy advocacy. Supporting firm’s direct legal services. Researching and drafting public education materials. Have the opportunity to participate in meetings with coalition partners, as well as conferences, public events, and trainings. Must be second- and third-year law students committed to working at the intersection of health equity and the criminal legal system. Must be law students who will have completed at least one year of law school before the internship starts. Should preferably have strong analytic skills and experience with one or more of firm’s areas of work.
