A law firm seeks a dynamic Associate Attorney to join their team in Colorado. The firm specializes in Collections, Creditors' Rights, Insurance Subrogation, Construction, Litigation, Real Estate, Bankruptcy, and Commercial Landlord and Tenant matters.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Handle various aspects of the litigation process.
• Draft, review, and sign pleadings and correspondence.
• Prepare and oppose motions.
• Respond to discovery requests.
• Appear in court for law and motion hearings.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed attorney in Colorado.
• Admission in New Mexico, Washington, Oregon, California, Hawaii, Nevada, and/or Massachusetts is a plus.
• Strong negotiation skills with a focus on dispute resolution.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Colorado Bar number to practice law.
