A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Attorney (Non-litigation) for its Appleton, WI office. The Associate Attorney will support litigation attorneys with legal document production, legal research, and client screening.

Duties

• Draft summons, complaints, motions, discovery, and other pleadings
• Conduct legal research
• Write briefs
• Screen potential clients
• Prepare for trials
• Perform other duties as assigned by a litigation attorney

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate degree and Wisconsin State Bar license
• Superior customer service skills
• Innovative problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently
• Proficiency in multitasking in a dynamic environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality

Education

• Juris Doctorate degree
