Duties:

• Led and managed appellate cases from inception to resolution, ensuring the highest standard of legal practice.

• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, including managing carrier relationships.

• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.

• Contribute to the firm’s growth by providing strategic insights and assisting in business development efforts.

• Participate in firm-wide initiatives, supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion goals.

• Drive efforts to enhance the firm’s reputation within the appellate space.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Partner-level Appellate attorney, with a strong track record in managing appellate files and client relationships.

• Excellent professional references and a history of job stability.

• Active membership in the California Bar with good standing.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team, supporting the firm’s collaborative ethos.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be an active member of the California State Bar.

Skills:

• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal arguments clearly and persuasively.

• Exceptional analytical and research abilities.

• Leadership and mentoring capabilities, with a focus on nurturing talent within the firm.

• Ability to handle a high volume of complex cases in a fast-paced environment.
