Duties

• Represent clients in a variety of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and property division.
• Provide legal counsel, ensuring clients understand their rights and options throughout the legal process.
• Draft legal documents, including petitions, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Negotiate on behalf of clients in family law disputes to reach favorable resolutions.
• Attend court hearings and trials, advocating for clients with professionalism and skill.
• Maintain detailed case files and keep clients informed of case progress.

Requirements

• Proven ability to handle sensitive client matters with discretion and empathy.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in clear, understandable terms.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual caseloads effectively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Wisconsin State Bar (Required).
