Duties

• Manage and oversee all phases of commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other tools to support case strategies.
• Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Advise clients on a broad spectrum of legal issues such as estate planning, environmental law, and more.
• Develop case strategies through negotiation and advocacy to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive legal support across practice areas.
• Maintain detailed case files and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements.
• Stay current on evolving laws and regulations through continuous research and professional development.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in the states of New Jersey and Delaware, required.
• Proven expertise in litigation across multiple practice areas.
• Strong negotiation skills to effectively advocate for clients' interests.
• Proficiency in legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal drafting.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues quickly and develop strategic solutions.
• Effective communication skills for client interaction and courtroom advocacy.
• Must be skilled in Outlook, Word, Excel, Lexis Research, and Adobe.
• Familiarity with NetDocs, a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the states of New Jersey and Delaware.
