A law firm seeks a highly experienced Transactional Tax Attorney to join its Corporate and Tax Group in Tampa, FL. Remote arrangements will be considered for this role.

Duties

• Advise on tax aspects of complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and restructurings.
• Provide guidance on financings, private equity transactions, and equity investments.
• Collaborate regularly with deal teams and assume direct client responsibility.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in U.S. federal income tax, including partnership and corporate tax planning.
• Mid to senior level attorney with a practical, business-oriented approach.
• Experience at a large law firm or accounting firm preferred.

Education

• LL.M. in Taxation preferred.

Certifications

• CPA designation preferred.

Skills

• Strong expertise in advising on complex transactions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with deal teams.
