Duties

• Represent clients from initial pleadings through the appellate process.
• Engage in drafting, litigation, and settlement discussions.
• Conduct legal research and interact with clients.
• Participate in child protective, appellate, guardianship, and adoption cases.

Requirements

• Interest in family law and litigation.
• Ability to work independently with a full caseload.
• Knowledge of State and Federal statutes and Court Rules.
• Familiarity with Lexis research platform preferred.
• Presence or desire to be a guardian ad litem is a plus.

Education

• Doctorate (Required)

Certifications

• Maine Bar license (Required)
