Duties

• Assist lead attorneys with motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research using legislation and case law.
• Lead and support state and federal cases and arbitrations.
• Delegate tasks to appropriate staff.
• Communicate with opposing counsel and court staff.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
• Strong research, writing, and analysis skills.
• Experience drafting motions, summary judgments, and trial briefs.
• 0 - 3 years of experience in civil litigation, family law, and real estate law preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications

• Active membership with the State Bar of Texas.

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and My Case.
• Ability to interface directly with clients.
