Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney to join its team, focusing on creditors' rights and debt collection litigation. This role provides an excellent opportunity for both experienced attorneys and newly licensed lawyers to gain significant courtroom exposure. The attorney will be responsible for handling court proceedings, drafting legal documents, and managing various aspects of litigation, including motions, arbitrations, and trials. Duties

• Represent clients in court by managing court calls, arguing motions, and handling contested hearings, arbitrations, and trials.

• Draft, review, and approve legal documents, including complaints, motions, discovery requests, and post-judgment proceedings.

• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.

• Work collaboratively with legal teams to ensure effective case management.

• Travel as needed to attend court hearings in various jurisdictions across Illinois.

Requirements

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
