The position involves representing clients in immigration court, handling complex legal matters, and working to protect clients' rights under immigration law. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of cases and make a significant impact on clients’ lives.

Duties:

• Represent clients in immigration court hearings, including master and individual hearings
• Prepare and file necessary legal documents and evidence for immigration cases
• Manage a moderate caseload and ensure timely progression of each case
• Conduct legal research using resources like Westlaw to support case preparation
• Provide clear advice to clients about their legal rights and obligations
• Negotiate settlements and resolutions in immigration-related disputes
• Work collaboratively with a team of attorneys and legal professionals
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling case files

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in any U.S. state or the District of Columbia
• Previous experience in immigration law is highly preferred
• Excellent legal drafting skills with attention to detail
• Strong litigation skills with the ability to represent clients in court effectively
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Critical thinking and strong analytical abilities to solve complex legal issues

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in any U.S. state or the District of Columbia
