A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level/Senior Debt Finance Associate Attorney for their Boston, MA location.

Job Overview:

The Mid-Level/Senior Debt Finance Associate Attorney will handle various secured lending matters, including domestic and cross-border acquisitions, restructuring, reorganizations, and general corporate finance matters. The ideal candidate will have substantive experience as a key member of deal teams and be able to take on significant responsibilities in drafting debt commitment papers, credit documentation, and managing signings and closings.

Duties:

• Handle various secured lending matters, including domestic and cross-border acquisitions, restructuring, reorganizations, and general corporate finance.
• Take responsibility for running signings and closings.
• Draft debt commitment papers and credit documentation.
• Assist in direct lending, special situation financings, out-of-court and in-court restructurings, and private equity-related corporate finance transactions.

Requirements:

• Admitted to and a member in good standing of the Texas Bar.
• 6-9 years of experience.
• Substantive experience in secured lending matters.
• Experience as a key member of deal teams.
• Familiarity with direct lending, special situation financings, and private equity-related transactions.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Texas Bar.
