Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate attorney to join the Secondary Markets group within the Public Finance practice in Omaha, NE. The candidate will engage in a variety of transactional matters involving municipal, asset-backed, and corporate securities, collaborating with experienced partners. This full-time position offers a hybrid work option.

Duties

• Research federal and state laws, including securities and lending laws, the Internal Revenue Code, and local bond and real estate law.
• Prepare and review transaction documents such as trust indentures, loan agreements, and financing agreements.
• Prepare and review underwriting documents, including offering documents and purchase agreements.
• Interact and communicate with clients and other transaction parties.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in public finance, real estate, lending, corporate finance, or other transactional areas.
• Understanding of various business entities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional research and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and flexibly.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and critical thinking ability.
• Collaborative and professional work ethic.

Education

• Must be admitted to practice with an active bar license in good standing in the locality of the office location.
