A law firm seeks a highly experienced eviction attorney to join their Landlord-Tenant Practice Group in Sunrise, FL. This role involves managing a sophisticated, high-volume eviction portfolio in a technology-driven and collaborative environment.

Duties

• Manage and prosecute residential eviction cases under Chapters 83 and 723, Florida Statutes.
• Handle all phases of eviction litigation, including strategy, pleadings, motions, hearings, trials, and writ enforcement.
• Review leases, notices, and compliance requirements to ensure statutory adherence.
• Provide strategic guidance and risk analysis to landlord clients and property management companies.
• Collaborate with internal legal, paralegal, and client service teams to ensure efficient case progression.
• Maintain strong client communication and service standards.
• Monitor statutory and case law developments affecting landlord-tenant law.

Requirements

• Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• Minimum four years of concentrated experience prosecuting landlord-side eviction matters.
• Demonstrated experience managing a full eviction portfolio independently.
• Strong courtroom advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and case management abilities.
• Ability to manage deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong client service mindset and team collaboration skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Florida.
