A law firm seeks an experienced Trial Attorney to join its personal injury team in Montgomery, AL. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to represent clients throughout Alabama. The ideal candidate will possess strong courtroom skills, proven litigation experience, and a commitment to client service. They will manage their caseload independently, leading matters from filing through discovery, hearings, mediations, and trial.

Duties

• Represent clients in personal injury cases from initial litigation through settlement or verdict.
• Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Handle mediations, hearings, and trial proceedings, including jury selection, opening/closing statements, and examinations.
• Collaborate with paralegals and litigation support staff to ensure thorough case preparation.

Requirements

• Active membership in the Alabama Bar, in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years of litigation/trial experience in personal injury or related areas.
• Strong negotiation, advocacy, and courtroom skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Alabama Law License.
