Duties:
Manage family law cases from start to finish, including divorce, child custody, and support matters
Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
Conduct discovery, attend court hearings, and participate in mediations and trials
Collaborate with clients to develop legal strategies and provide compassionate guidance
Maintain clear and timely communication with clients and colleagues
Participate in networking, pro bono initiatives, and professional development activities
Work with senior attorneys on complex or high-profile family law matters
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of family law experience, preferably in private practice
Active license to practice law in Colorado (or pending)
No current or pending grievances or malpractice claims
Strong client service skills and a desire to positively impact clients’ lives
Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple deadlines
Collaborative mindset with an interest in mentoring and teamwork
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active and in good standing with the Colorado State Bar
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication
High emotional intelligence and empathy
Litigation experience in family law settings
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage and prioritize caseload efficiently
Comfortable with client advocacy and courtroom presence
