Duties:

• Provide legal advice and representation to clients in immigration matters, including:
  • Family-based immigration
  • Employment-based immigration
  • Asylum
  • Deportation defense
• Manage a diverse caseload and ensure the timely and effective handling of cases
• Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and file applications with government agencies
• Communicate with clients to understand their immigration goals and keep them informed about the progress of their cases
• Provide clear and concise explanations of legal options and potential outcomes
• Stay informed about changes in immigration laws and policies
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in each case
• Work collaboratively with paralegals and support staff to achieve efficient case management
• Collaborate with other attorneys within the firm on complex cases and legal strategies

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Bar in California
• Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing immigration law
• Strong knowledge of US immigration laws and procedures
• Excellent research and writing skills
