The candidate oversees internal bookkeeping and billing as well as day to day bookkeeping and accounting for family office clients. Assures that accounting functions and records are prepared in accordance with regulations and business requirements. Ensures accuracy by identifying and resolving problem situations. Helps support fixed assets system maintenance for family office entities including asset creation, disposal, running reports and uploading the related depreciation for book and tax. Updates investment roll forward monthly for all accounts. Reconciles assigned GL control accounts to their respective sub ledgers including investment statements, updates to month end reporting work papers, and reconciliation of intercompany balances between family office entities. Helps maintain month-end close checklist. Other ad-hoc projects. Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required. Experience in tax and/or accounting environment or equivalent is preferred.
