Associate Attorney
The candidate will assist with various litigation matters. Should be a highly motivated, self-starter with strong communication skills both verbal and written. Should have a strong academic background, be detailed-oriented, and have the ability to prioritize and manage workload. The primary focus will be assisting litigation department with an emphasis on commercial and civil litigation, often surrounding real estate, business matters, shareholder disputes and estate/trust litigation. Other areas of focus include family law and debt collection. Frequently appear in court upon proper training. A Juris Doctorate Degree. Licensed to practice law in the State of Iowa (or have taken bar exam and pending results). Exceptional academic credentials and writing skills. Professional and confident communication style. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to operate in a confidential, fast-paced environment. Strong work ethic with an emphasis on detail and accuracy. Ability to balance a variety of responsibilities and projects at once.
