The ideal candidate will have 3 to 7 years of experience in handling mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, corporate governance, capital markets transactions, securities regulation issues, and general business matters.

Duties

• Manage mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.
• Draft acquisition documents, joint venture agreements, and commercial contracts.
• Handle corporate governance matters.
• Prepare SEC filings, including offering materials and periodic reports.

Requirements

• 3 to 7 years of relevant legal experience.
• Excellent academic record.
• Strong communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of North Carolina.

Skills

• Understanding of financial statements.
• Background in accounting and/or finance is helpful.
