Job Title: Family Law Attorney - Hybrid

Job Overview:
A prominent law firm, located in Fishers, IN, is currently seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join their team in a hybrid work arrangement. The firm specializes in helping clients navigate family law issues such as divorce, child custody, and other matters, providing a client-focused approach throughout the legal process.

Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support family law cases.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and motions, ensuring accuracy and legal compliance.
• Represent clients in family law matters, negotiate settlements, and advocate on their behalf in court.
• Manage client intake and maintain clear communication throughout legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with the legal team to improve office processes and client services.
• Appear at court hearings, depositions, and mediations as required.
• Prepare for and attend the trial, managing all relevant case details.
• Handle a variety of family law cases, including divorce, custody, paternity, child support, modifications, and more.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in family law.
• Admission to practice law in Indiana.
• Strong negotiation and litigation skills, with experience resolving disputes both in and out of the courtroom.
• Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Comfort with drafting legal documents and preparing for trials.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Indiana.

Skills:

• Family Law expertise (divorce, child custody, paternity, etc.).
• Strong legal writing and drafting skills.
• Effective negotiation and mediation skills.
• Ability to manage client relationships and case communications effectively.
• Proven ability to handle complex legal cases from start to finish.
• High level of attention to detail and organization.
