The role is ideal for an experienced attorney who can independently manage a caseload and deliver strong defense strategies in workers’ compensation matters.

Location

Duties

• Represent employers and insurance carriers in California workers’ compensation cases

• Manage all aspects of claims, from inception through resolution

• Conduct depositions, hearings, and appearances as needed

• Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements

• Communicate with clients regarding case strategy, updates, and risk assessments

• Collaborate with support staff and maintain organized case files

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Active California Bar license in good standing

• Minimum of 5 years of workers’ compensation defense experience in California

• Proficient in all aspects of claims handling, litigation, and resolution

• Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment
