A law firm seeks a Workers Compensation Litigation Attorney in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in workers compensation litigation and be a licensed member of the Florida Bar in good standing. This role requires managing a caseload from inception through trial or resolution.

Duties

• Manage a caseload from case inception through trial or resolution.
• Conduct legal research and supervise research projects delegated to paralegals.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and reports.
• Attend court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and meetings with clients.
• Negotiate settlements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of dedicated workers compensation experience.
• Proven ability to manage workers compensation caseloads.
• Prior insurance defense and/or workers compensation litigation experience.
• Licensed member of the Florida Bar in good standing.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Florida Bar License.
