Job Overview:

A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Associate to join its Seattle, WA office. The position involves defending employers in a variety of employment-related lawsuits, including class actions, discrimination claims, and non-compete cases. The successful candidate will also provide counsel to employers on labor law issues and participate in mediations, arbitrations, and administrative hearings.

Location:

• Seattle, WA

Duties:

• Defend and litigate employment-related lawsuits, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and non-compete cases
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration
• Advise and counsel employers on labor and employment law matters
• Provide training to employers on various workplace law issues
• Manage and oversee employment-related agency charges of discrimination
• Stay updated on state and federal employment laws and agency procedures

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• Minimum of 3 years of employment or commercial litigation experience
• Background in employment law strongly preferred
• Admitted to the Washington State Bar in good standing
• Understanding of state and federal agency procedures related to employment law

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Washington State Bar
