Location:

Duties:

• Represent clients in probate court proceedings and hearings.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, including wills, trusts, and probate petitions.
• Provide legal counsel on estate planning and the probate process.
• Resolve disputes related to wills, trusts, and estate administration.
• Collaborate with executors, administrators, and beneficiaries to settle estates.
• Conduct legal research and stay informed about changes in probate law.
• Work with legal staff and colleagues to develop case strategies.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing with the Illinois State Bar.
• Strong knowledge of probate law, estate administration, and guardianship processes.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.
• Familiarity with legal research tools and case management software is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree required.

Certifications:

• Active Illinois Bar membership required.
