Duties:

• Handle a variety of transactional legal matters, including:

  • Estate planning and asset protection

  • Business formation (LLCs, incorporations)

  • Nonprofit compliance (501(c)(3))

  • Intellectual property disputes

• Participate in court proceedings, mediations, and depositions as necessary

• Conduct legal research and case analysis

• Engage in internal training sessions and case reviews

• Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients via in-person meetings, phone, and virtual platforms

• Prioritize client satisfaction through responsive and thoughtful service

• Manage a significant caseload efficiently from initiation through resolution

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited institution

• Licensed and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar

• Proven ability to analyze, research, and draft legal documents

• Strong negotiation, mediation, and advocacy skills

• Capable of managing multiple cases and deadlines

• High ethical standards with a strong commitment to confidentiality

• Effective communication and relationship-building skills

• Experience in networking or client development is advantageous

Education:

• J.D. degree required

Certifications:

• Active law license in any U.S. jurisdiction (North Carolina preferred)
