A reputable Florida-based law firm is seeking a full-time Litigation Associate with a strong emphasis on legal writing to join its litigation team. This remote position is ideal for a motivated attorney with at least one year of litigation experience and demonstrated proficiency in drafting persuasive legal arguments. The associate will work across all phases of litigation, focusing on research, motion practice, and managing cases involving first-party property claims.

Represent clients in litigation proceedings including hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials
Draft and review pleadings, motions, legal briefs, and appellate submissions
Conduct legal research and analysis to support written arguments and case strategy
Develop and implement case strategies in coordination with team members
Handle direct and cross-examinations of witnesses
Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and internal teams
Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution
Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and case conferences
Collaborate with consultants and experts in preparing legal arguments
Mentor junior attorneys or support staff, when needed
Minimum of 1 year of litigation experience, with a strong focus on legal writing
Experience handling first-party property claims preferred
Strong legal research and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to handle complex litigation tasks independently
Exceptional writing and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain attention to detail under pressure
Strong organizational and case management capabilities
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active member of the Florida Bar (required)
Texas Bar License (preferred but not required)
Proficient in legal research tools and case management software
Skilled in drafting legal briefs and persuasive appellate documents
Ability to present legal arguments clearly to diverse audiences
Comfortable working remotely and autonomously
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally within a legal team
