A law firm seeks an experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney for a full-time, in-office position in Irvine, California. The ideal candidate will take ownership of personal injury cases from intake through settlement, providing exceptional client service and strategic legal representation.

Duties

• Conduct strategic investigations into liability, damages, and case value.
• Analyze medical records, evidence, and other case-related documentation.
• Develop case strategy and identify opportunities to maximize value.
• Draft and review demand packages and other legal documents.
• Negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
• Evaluate settlement offers and make strategic recommendations.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the legal and factual issues affecting each case.
• Collaborate with legal assistants, case managers, and other professionals.

Requirements

• Active attorney in good standing.
• 5+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of California personal injury law and procedures.
• Experience managing a significant personal injury caseload.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to evaluate risk and leverage.
• Confident and empathetic communication with clients.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
