The ideal candidate will provide legal representation to clients, manage cases from inception to resolution, and contribute to the firm's growth and visibility within the community and industry.

Job Duties:

• Handle various complex civil litigation matters, focusing on business and real estate litigation.
• Provide legal representation to clients, assessing facts and issues of each scenario and offering appropriate counseling.
• Conduct litigation defense or prosecution of civil claims.
• Respond promptly to client concerns to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
• Take and defend depositions effectively.
• Participate actively in industry organizations and affiliated committees to enhance the firm’s visibility.
• Represent the firm both internally and externally as needed.
• Perform other duties as required to support legal and management goals.

Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar license.
• 3-6 years of attorney experience.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients on various practice group topics.
• Ability to multitask and meet inflexible deadlines in both team and independent settings.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience in business and/or real estate law.
• Familiarity with ProLaw or other billing and document management programs.
• Previous deposition and trial experience.
• Experience in probate litigation.
