A law firm seeks a Project Finance Associate with 3-5 years of experience in energy project finance to join their Madison, WI office. The role involves working on renewable energy and infrastructure matters, focusing on project finance and tax credit transactions.

Duties

• Represent developers, sponsors, lenders, and investors in renewable energy transactions.
• Draft and negotiate credit agreements and related financing documents.
• Coordinate due diligence and manage transaction workstreams.
• Drive matters toward closing in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Experience with tax credit transactions, including tax equity.
• Experience with conventional generation or other energy assets is welcomed.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member in good standing of the Bar where admitted.
• Timely admission to the Bar of the state where the office is located.
