A law firm seeks an experienced Senior Family Law Attorney in Atlanta, GA. The successful candidate will advocate for clients, provide strategic legal advice, and mentor junior associates. Duties

• Conduct depositions, issue interrogatories, and manage discovery processes.
• Oversee a family law caseload from strategy development to resolution.
• Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Prepare for and represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Advise clients on legal strategies and potential outcomes.
• Collaborate with intake and operations teams to maintain case momentum.
• Ensure accurate timekeeping and documentation in case management systems.
• Negotiate settlements and resolutions focused on client needs.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys in conflict resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft briefs and motions.
• Attend court hearings and argue motions on behalf of clients.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia.
• 1-5 years of litigation experience, with exposure to family law.
• Demonstrated courtroom experience in hearings and motion practice.
• Strong writing and legal analysis skills.
• High client-service standards and emotional intelligence.
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience as a senior associate in the legal field.
• Member of state and local bar associations in good standing.
• Experience advocating for clients in trials, mediation, and arbitration.

Education

• Four-year bachelor's degree.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Georgia.
