Duties

• Assist senior attorneys with all phases of litigation

• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence

• Conduct legal research and prepare detailed memoranda

• Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, and trials as needed

• Maintain and manage organized case files and meet case deadlines

• Professionally communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant legal experience preferred

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines

• Professional demeanor and strong client service orientation

• Ability to take initiative while working collaboratively in a team

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active and in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan (or eligibility for admission)
