Profile
Investigator Student Conduct
The candidate will be responsible for the investigation of conduct matters. Will prepare reports regarding conduct investigations and present these reports to the Hearing Board. Work collaboratively with other key constituents. Play a key role in training of student, faculty, and staff on issues relating to Title IX. Help in evaluating and improving the student conduct process. Must have knowledge of legal issues in higher education. Must have knowledge of the federal legislation impacting student conduct. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational, time management and problem solving skills is required. Must have Master's degree in higher education, counseling, or related field (or law degree). Must have 2+ years' experience in student conduct or related field, to include investigation and interviewing experience. Juris Doctorate or Master's degree is preferred. Experience working with college students is preferred. Professional experience conducting investigations in a University setting is preferred. Experience working with Title IX, FERPA, & Clery Compliance is preferred. Previous discrimination and harassment investigation experience highly preferred.
